Does it have cool features? Yes

Can it pick things up? Yes

Does it interact with objects / people? Yes

Can it walk well? ....no

Tried on shag carpet....no go
Tried on wood floor...it kept slipping
Tried on thinner carpet...worked better buy still not very welll.

For 250...I would like a Robot that walks pretty well.

Other than the dogs. All of the robots have an achillis heel...walking. I tried the roboraptor in the store..(on shag carpeting) and yielded the same results....

So should you get the robosapien V2? If you are not so concerned about the unit walking well...then yes..but if walking is important to you..then no..

yes...it does work on the carpet in that mode.....but not very well...not 250.00 worth.

and it does not work well in any mode on wood floors...

true , mine actualy goes faster on my carpet than my hardwood floor lol

try puting a rough material on the bottom of his feet it will go faster on hardwood floor

The V2 is a piece of junk. Mine falls all the time on all turns. Was this thing beta tested? I bet it was not. I do not believe the ones in the WooWee video were for sale. The designers at WooWee and the CEO of the Sharper Image should be ashamed to put out a product that does not work as listed on the WooWee site. The V2 is a piece of expensive junk. Has anyone in corporate America considered the feelings of little kids who received the V2 junk for Christmas?

1 phrases sure kids may think that they are funny but for more of a 13+ age group
2 not many parents are going to go out and spend 250 $ when they could please them with the robopet or the first one heck even the roboraptor.
