Does anyone know of a way to get more people to join the forums?

also they could definatly put many more adverts in the store

How about contests. Look at what the X-Prize did for private space travel. Nothing that big, of course, but when you're offering a prize valued by robo-enthusiasts you will attract attention, not to mention free publicity in the press. This scrolling broach is good, it's getting me to post, but then geeks like myself also used pocket protectors!

Go to the schools. Start early, from say the third grade up. Science minded teachers can be your biggest sales force. They buy, too. Science fairs are beginning very young now and parents are willing to do much to get their offspring to excel.

another way would be to have all members search in google and then click on this site.... once the clicks increase the ranking will go up on google. therefore the hits from people other than us will be higher. That is one way that we got my paintball teams website more publicity and more people on the forums
