Hi this is my first post Frowner) just wondering if anyone knows when in 2000 I-Cybie was released by Silverlit, and does anyone know when I-Cybie was released to the public via Tiger electronics? i know it was in 2001, but unsure what month.
Also does anyone know how much the I-Cybie cost back then - i only got mine as a christmas pressie, and so uinsure on the costs.
am doing a critique based on it for my degree, and cant find the dates on the net, so wondering if anyone knew?
thanks for your help.

When I first notice Icybies for sale in a retail outlet they were selling for $200 each.
I, however, bought 2 on Ebay that worked just fine. The amazing thing is is that they do almost everyting that Aibo does.

Kewl, i think mine was bought after they stopped selling the first lot by tiger (cheap - about £80 i think it could have been), how do you think they compare - just asking as im doing a report on the I-Cybie vs the Aibo and would be good to get some user feedback for it.
Also do you know if the charging station are sold in the uk? as i looked on google and it only comes up with american sites...??!?
thanks.
