Hello everybody, my name is Chris. I'm from Chicago and I've been a huge fan of electronics my whole life. I've had a very expensive hobby of modifying cars for race. But due to recent economical failures (laid off my job lol), I'm forced to work 2 days a week and that won't cut it for my hobby.

I've decided I really want to get into robotics, whether it be making a little motorized fan with wheels, or a full out robot.

I come here in hope that you guys will have plenty of information for me to grow upon and learn with. I have a small collection of electronics right now (wiring, motors, led's, mini 12v battery, soldering iron etc).

But anyways I'll cut myself off here, hope to hear from you all soon.

Hey bro, I'm new too. I'm on my vacation right now and go back to work friday. I'll be robotting like mad, so I'll report all my work for yall to see.
