Hi All.
I'm very green so please forgive the naivety. I have a strong pc background and have moved into robotics for a change of pace (network administration is only SO exciting). Anyway, I have seen many grab bags for sale (100+ LEDS, bags of resistors of all kinds, selected wheels, etc...) for sale and was wondering if stocking up on these types of things was a) cost effective, and b) worth the $2.98 they want for it. Nothing expensive at all, just a bag of parts, basically. Having a computer building background, this was always a good idea, but very costly. I see myself, with my new hobby, taking over my children's rooms with spare parts and the like. Does anyone have any suggestions for hoarding parts for future (eventual) use?
