Hi All.
I'm very green so please forgive the naivety. I have a strong pc background and have moved into robotics for a change of pace (network administration is only SO exciting). Anyway, I have seen many grab bags for sale (100+ LEDS, bags of resistors of all kinds, selected wheels, etc...) for sale and was wondering if stocking up on these types of things was a) cost effective, and b) worth the $2.98 they want for it. Nothing expensive at all, just a bag of parts, basically. Having a computer building background, this was always a good idea, but very costly. I see myself, with my new hobby, taking over my children's rooms with spare parts and the like. Does anyone have any suggestions for hoarding parts for future (eventual) use? Thanks much for any and all responses.
