The BEST robotics promotional organization exists almost exclusively in the South with a small presence toward New England.

How is it that there is no interest in the West where silicon valley, the Phoenix technology complex exists, as well as the megalopolii of New York and Los Angeles?

This worthy conjunction between education and business should be well represented throughout the nation, and their goal to inspire more scientists and engineers should be that of all.

A BEST hub with 24 participating units costs only about $28,000. The payback could be huge. What can you do to promote BEST where you live?

Living in silicon valley, well San Jose, Calif. I can tell you that robotics is alive and well and growing rapidly. Last year we had our own Robotic show with thousands of people from all over the world attending. I can only imagine that these robotic developers just don't advertise that much is one of the reasons you don't hear that much about them.
These are some really advanced work being done in out local universities and it has been an on going project for decades now. I will talk more about this in another post in more detail.

I first heard about our local robotics convention a couple of months ago but since then I have not heard a word. It could be that I just missed the info and the show. Ever since Sept 1st I have been attending night school three nights a week with lots of homework so I might have missed the show. I was just notified that there will be a big robotics show in Las Vegas in the very near future. Sorry that my info has been a little short but I try to keep everyone abreast of the facts when I hear about them.
