The 50 rpm motor that I bought worked great. I am making a movable robot with a arm and a claw to pick up objects for the disabled. So I needed a small and compact \ motor with high torque and power. The rpm had to be slow so the arm and the claw can be controlled smooth and easily. When I googled “50rpm motor” and the first web site it showed was batteryspace.com. At first I wasn’t sure if it had enough power but I took the gamble and ordered it. It was delivered quickly and efficiently. I got it very soon and it worked like a charm. When I hooked it up to my robot, it worked great. The motor had plenty of power to close and open the claw. The rpm of the motor was just what I needed. I was afraid that I would have to use two of my old motors, which had a high rpm and low torque, to make the robot work but this motor solved all of my problems. The high rpm on my old motors meant that these motors would yank my robot’s arms back and forth. So I tried to find gear boxes on the internet, but there wasn’t anything good until I found this motor on batteryspace.com. The 50 rpm helped me a lot because it didn’t yank any of my components back and forth, but slowly moved them to where I needed them to be. Also, the high torque meant that it could easily move my arm, which was a necessity. Then, the other good thing about the motor was that it didn’t need an insanely high amount of electricity to run it. It worked great with the 9 volt batteries that I already had. This was a big bonus. All I had to do was just attach the motor to the base of the robot with some zip ties and metal strippings and it worked like a charm. The claw was suppose to close with enough force to pick up about 5 pounds but it actually held items that are about 10 pounds. Another good thing about the company was that they made the shipping really safe. When I got the box and opened it, there were many things inside the box to protect the motor during shipping. First they had this plastic bags with air inside it to cushion the motors. These were 3 small plastic bags, that were joined together and was surround the smaller box which contained the motor. Then inside the smaller box, the motor was wrapped with a foam paper. I was really happy that this company had provided all these safety measures to protect my item; otherwise I would have to exchange it which would have taken a really long time and delayed my project by a lot. So, I am really grateful for this. Because of all this, I am really glad that I bought my electric motor off batteryspace.com. I trust this website, and will continues to buy their products.
