I’m building a autonomous mobile robot using differential drive and have a couple of questions before I start.

1)If I’m using a Basic Stamp II and two HS-422 servo’s do I need an H-bridge. I was thinking about using an L293 chip but I had a classmate tell me I don’t need one.

2) Does anyone know a good way to mount an omni directional wheel to a aluminum chassis.

I'm not verry familiar with the stamps. but i think your classmate is right that you don't NEED one, bould I would highly recommend useing one though.

and as for mounting, that would depend what you want to do, how much room youve got ect ect. the easyest methold I can think of is simply cut a slot in the aluminium and place the wheel inside and iether bolt or rivit a bracket on to hold it in place

yes, yes i am awesome
