I've just been given a design project to design a 10m long snake arm robot for use in nuclear reactors, as part of my engineering degree.
i was thinking a series of segments which are moved using cables which run down the inside of the arm. These will be connected to a hydrolic system. Anyone have any sugestions?
I might post the design when its finished and been marked.
